Mrs Louise Charlton and Mr Robert Eaton founded Sign it! in June 2003. Sign it! is a not-for-profit, Social Enterprise which has brought together people trained in British Sign Language (BSL) with the aim of improving services and support provided to our local deaf community.
Sign it! is registered with The Council for the Advancement of Communication with Deaf People (CACDP), as an approved training centre.
Sign it! also provides an Outreach Centre. This centre gives access to communication support for profoundly deaf people for all aspects of their everyday life. The primary role of Sign it! is to support profoundly deaf people but our doors are open to all! The Sign it! goal is to achieve a "level playing field" for those who are disadvantaged by disability.
